    What this test measures

Panic attacks are intense episodes of fear with physical symptoms (heart racing, shortness of breath, dizziness, unreality). They can happen with anxiety, health worry, or on their own. This screen is educational, not a diagnosis of panic disorder.

How often sudden panic-like episodes occur, whether you worry about the next one, and whether you avoid places because of them.

    How scoring works

Answer about recent weeks. Higher scores mean attacks or fear of attacks are more disruptive. Therapy for panic often uses CBT and gradual exposure to feared sensations.

    Lower · Few episodes

You may still want skills for the moments that do happen.

    Mid · Recurring panic

Attacks or avoidance are affecting life. A therapist can help interrupt the cycle.

    Higher · Frequent / impairing

    Specialist anxiety support is recommended.

This is a screening questionnaire, not a medical diagnosis. Results are for self-awareness only. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a helpline immediately.
